2. Scope

3. The app – data collection
Diamond Bots collects no personal data in the app and sends nothing to external servers. Specifically:
No sign-up: The app requires no account and no login.
No tracking: No analytics, tracking or crash-reporting services, no ad SDKs.
No ads & no in-app purchases.
No device IDs: We collect neither IDFA, IDFV nor any other device identifiers.
3.1 Local storage
The following game data is stored exclusively on your device (WebKit local storage) and never leaves it: game progress (highest level), diamonds/crystals, unlocked robots and their levels, your chosen player name, color selection and difficulty. Uninstalling the app removes this data completely.
4. The website – diamondbots.app
4.1 Hosting
The website runs on a server operated by DigitalOcean, LLC in the Frankfurt am Main (EU) data center. When you visit, technically necessary server log data is processed (IP address, date/time, requested URL, browser type/operating system). It is used solely to operate the website securely and reliably and is stored only briefly. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4.2 Cookies & tracking
The website uses no cookies, no analytics tools, no marketing cookies and no social-media trackers. No tracking takes place.

Spam / abuse protection
Processing: The report is sent to us by email. For email delivery we use the provider Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) as a processor; the transfer to the USA is based on Standard Contractual Clauses. The data is used solely to handle your report.
Spam protection: The form uses a server-side arithmetic captcha plus technical safeguards (honeypot, timing check, per-IP rate limiting). Verification happens entirely on our own server – no external captcha services are used.
Legal basis: your consent by actively submitting the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), revocable at any time. Retention: until resolved, at the latest after 12 months.
